Deviate with MJ COLE

oh my god. i am so excited.....

Deviate @ Last Days of Decadence with MJ Cole....

This month Deviate is proud to present an exclusive 90-min set from legendary DJ/Producer MJ Cole.

A pioneer in the UK underground music, his ruffed-up, out and out two step dance floor action has secured him Best Producer at both the Eriksson Muzik Awards and the Mobo's as well as a nomination for The Mercury Music Award. Since signing to Gilles Peterson's Talkin' Loud label in 2002 MJ has secured superstar status and began DJing across the globe, while remixing everyone from Goldie and De La Soul to Masters at Work and Jill Scott.

We are delighted to have such an exciting UK artist in this intimate new venue alongside a selection of our baddest Deviate residents. Exel & Sandman, Moodie, Mike Jones & Lazy Boy have been tearing up Deviate events across the UK over the past 2 years. Expect an eclectic soundscape of Reggae, Dubstep, Tech House, 2-Step, Party Bass, Minimal Techno and much more from some of London hottest underground artists. Heavy-weight party vibes guaranteed…

This month we are taking over the newly refurbished Last Days Of Decadence on Shoreditch High St, slap bang in the heart of East London. This fresh venue officially opens to the public on 2nd October but we have organised an exclusive preview bash in this fantastic new space, complete with brand new sound systems throughout.

Please arrive early to avoid disappointment; this is an intimate affair with a capacity of only 400 people.

£6 all night

like Artful Dodger, i used to idolise M J Cole so much as a teenager listening to uk garage. i mean this guy's production is unbelievable. his remixes are second to none.
and he is going to be doing a hour and half set this September!!! in shoreditch!!
and its £6!!

tbh this is something for the old skool raver, i doubt many of todays garage revival kids can truly appreciate this almighty legend of a producer.

yes...so excited.
